Mark as Useful They are worse than a telemarketer, it's clear that they are scammers. They keep calling, always using a phony caller-ID (changing it from time to time.) I always press "1" to talk to them but they usually hang up the instant I ask for the company's name or the real phone number.
One time I got one to talk a moment.. they insisted that they were legit but that they weren't allowed to give me their phone number. A supervisor got on and said "sure, the number is... (click)".
The FTC obviously can't do anything since they're clearly a secret den of thieves and not a business that would be concerned with FCC fines. How do we get the FBI involved?

Mark as Useful This # called me a few mths ago w a scam stating that I have 3 charges against me for fraud. They had all mu information even though this was a bank acct that had been closed. They have resurfaced and called my job today. I did not take the call and informed all my co-workers to tell them that we know this is a scam and to not contact me anymore.

Mark as Useful caller was very hard to understand. but did catch that he said if I don't return the call i could be arrested, lose my home, or lose my job. And he was calling about a lawsuit that was pending.

Mark as Useful Very rude, and unprofessional. Left messages on my home phone, and when I called back they would not reveal who they were or what company they worked for. When asked they were resistant and continued to ask for my information to be able to 'help' me. Please do not call my home ever again.
